  Remarkably quiet atmosphere for downtown Tempe, and with very high quality pizza, pasta, and bruschetta. The happy hour wine ($5 off any glass), is a great way to enjoy trying new wines.

  Very helpful friendly managers and waiters. Great happy hour deals. I have to come here when I can hang out longer.
  Great place to people watch either through the huge windows or on the patio.
  My beet salad was beautiful, with thick heirloom tomato slices at the base.

  “Classic Burgers at their Best”
  We have been going to Chuckbox since I moved the the Phoenix area in 1984. I love, and I mean LOVE, hamburgers and after eating at most of the "best" burger joints in Phoenix this is still my best. There hamburgers are fresh ground beef patties cooked over a mesquite lump charcoal fire. You pick your burger size, your bun..

  My husband brought me here for my bday. It doesn't look like much on the outside, but the indoor courtyard has the most romantic ambience of any restaurant I've been to. From the greenery to the candle lit lanterns throughout you can't go wrong! Of course the food was phenomenal too. Small tasty portions of excellent cuisine.
